I am currently recruiting Masters students and PhD students to begin in 2027.
I am always eager to hear from students, postdocs, and others who are interested in collaborating. The questions we ask in the lab span a wide range of topics, from animal ecology and ecosystem function to conservation ethics. Because of that breadth, the best way to see whether your interests overlap with the lab is to explore our publications and ongoing research projects.

I am interested in recruiting students who are curious, motivated, and eager to learn about the environments and animals around us. The lab is interdisciplinary, and students can expect to hone their critical thinking, strengthen their writing, and develop their ability to ask and answer scientific questions that matter for both ecological theory and conservation practice.
At times, I'll have funding to support students, which I will be post here. Outside of that, I'm happy to support fellowship applications, including NSF GRFP, NSERC, Simons Foundation , or Fulbight. I welcome inquiries from prospective postdoctoral researchers interested in developing fellowship or grant applications to support their work in the lab.
