News:
Yale's Law, Animal, and Ethics program has been a instrumental supporter of my work in the last 4 years, and I've been lucky enough to give two interviews with them. Check out the interviews on my work on animal mediated subsidies with Diego Ellis-Soto here and my work on conservation ethics Nathalie Sommer here.
Check out my interview with the Yale Humanities Program where I chat about how the program helped me bridge my love of philosophy with my Ph.D. in ecology.
After co-winning the Sidnie Manton Award from the Journal of Animal Ecology with Diego Ellis-Soto, we got to edit a special issue on Animal Mediated Subsides. It was an absolute joy to collate instrumental papers from the journal that have pushed this field further.
I recently got to visit my collaborators in the WEEL Lab and the Biology Department at Memorial University to chat about zoogeochemistry and conservation ethics. A phenomenal trip to Newfoundland in the Fall!
New Paper Alert: Understanding anthropogenic impacts on zoogeochemistry is essential for ecological restoration
I am honored to be selected as a 2022 PEO Scholar! This award is extremely special to me, as it is from a group of thoughtful and intelligent women who want to support future leaders in their fields. If you are a woman in your final 2 years of your PhD - check out this amazing opportunity.

About:
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in the working with the Bradford Lab and the Schmitz Lab at the Yale School of the Environment. Previously, I did my M.Sc. in the Jorge Lab at Vanderbilt University.
I'm generally interested in how to incorporate animals into current ecological paradigms. Presently, I am exploring how animals impact their environments, as well as how conservation considers and incorporates animals into decision making.
